The Story Behind the Name
My daughter Ivie has always loved plush toys; they’re her favorite. Years ago, I gave her a pink dog with white and dark pink heart-shaped spots. She was thrilled with the dog; it was love at first sight. I asked her, “What will you name him?” And without hesitating, she replied: “Flucos.” I was confused, and I asked her again to be sure: “What are you going to name him?” And she repeated it, “Flucos, Dad. His name is Flucos.” From that day on, Flucos became part of the family. Ivie would sleep, eat, watch TV, and play with Flucos. Years later, when I was thinking about a name for the business, guess what I chose? If you guessed Flucos, you guessed right.
Now, when people ask me: “What does Flucos mean?” I answer: Flucos are stick figures created by Ivie and adapted by me, a work of creativity, imagination, and love.
